Willows Farm Pumpkin Picking
Pick a pumpkin, join the Pumpkin Hunt and get your photo in the Gourd Grotto!

When: Saturday 14th - Sunday 15th October & Thursday 19th - Tuesday 31st October.

Tickets: Limited availability, early bird all-inclusive tickets (until 29th September) at the discounted price of £19.95 plus 50p booking fee (saving £5.50 on the door price) per ticket. 1 pumpkin per child admission, full access to the farm and facilities.
About: Willows Activity Farm is designed for families with primary school aged children, featuring adventure play, inflatables, funfair rides, ride-on toys, animals and Peter Rabbit shows and characters.

Pumpkin Picking at the Pop-Up Farm
Pumpkin and squashes galore on hand for picking, carving and eating! Includes a bale maze, wheelbarrows and a snack van.

When: Saturday 30th September – Tuesday 31st October, 09:30-17:30
Tickets: £4.95 + £0.39 booking fee, under 2s are free.
About: Established in 2017 by husband and wife, Ian and Gilly Pigott, this family-friendly farm offers seasonal ‘pop-up’ farming festivals including such crops as lavender and pumpkins.

The Pumpkin Farm
Come and pick a pumpkin, all grown on their farm just outside of Chesham. (Technically Buckinghamshire but very close to the Herts border!)
Where: The Pumpkin Farm, Amersham Road, Chesham, HP5 1NE
When: Daily 10am- 4pm on Sat 14th and Sun 15th October 2023 then Daily from Friday 20th October onwards (until Sold Out!)
Tickets: None required, free entry.
About: A family-run farm which grows Christmas trees, pumpkins and apples and opens itself up to the public for ‘pick your own’ at certain seasonal times.

Rumbler’s Farm Shop
A small farm shop which grows all its own pumpkins on site. Go see the piles of pumpkins in their splendour and choose your own to take home.

Tickets: Free – no tickets required.
About: A small farm shop selling home-made cakes, eggs, bread, jam, meats, vegetables, gifts and flowers including grown-on-site pumpkins in Autumn.

Spook-Fest at Aldenham Country Park
Spook-Fest at Aldenham Country Park . Alongside the annual family Halloween event, pumpkin picking and carving is on offer for all ages at this fantastic farm.

When: Saturday 14th – Saturday 21st October, the farm is open 09:00-16:30 each day.
Tickets: Pumpkin Picking and carving £4.95 per person.
About: Aldenham Country Park runs not-for-profit and seasonal events, and has a small farm, tractor rides, an indoor bouncy castle, adventure playgrounds, camping and a 100 Aker Woods Winnie the Pooh trail.

Standalone Farm
Pumpkin pickers can choose their pumpkin on site and staff will help them scoop out the insides ready for carving. Tools will be provided.

When: Monday 23rd- Friday 27th October, open 10:00-17:00 each day.
Tickets: £10 non-members, includes access to farm. £4.50 for annual pass holders. Under 2s are free.
About: A working farm set in 125 acres of farmland, with animals to visit and a new for 2023 adventure playground, indoor play barn, electric cars and a woodland trail.

Foxholes Farm
Entry to the Halloween activities includes one pumpkin per child for carving. Extra pumpkins can be bought.

When: Saturday 21st - Tuesday 31st October, 10:00-16:00
Tickets: Children £9.95 each (includes one pumpkin per child and entry into the farm park and spooky games barn). Face painting will be available from 10am to 3pm daily (extra charge applies).
About: The Foxholes family farming partnership began just after the Second World War and they now continue to farm over 1,000 acres of arable land, winning awards and putting on family–friendly events.

Pumpkin patch at Cammas Hall Farm
Entrance to their biggest pumpkin patch yet with over 60 varieties of pumpkin and squash to choose from, with Halloween characters mingling and plenty of spooky decoration.

When: Saturday 30th September – Sunday 29th October. Open 09:00-17:00 Tuesday to Sunday.
Tickets: £2-4 entrance. Pumpkins will be sold by weight and are an additional cost.
About: The Lukies family has been farming at Cammas Hall Farm since 1889! The Pick Your Own Farm aims to provide a unique and affordable experience that can be enjoyed by all ages.

Church Farm Halloween
Pick your own pumpkin from the Church Farm patch then carve it in their creepy carving tent (all tools provided).

Tickets: £4.95 to pick and carve a pumpkin, in addition to entry fee.
About: A not-for-profit farming, food, care and education farm. With animals to feed, a fairy woodland trail, tractor rides, café and farm-shop, camping and seasonal events. They also run Aldenham Country Park.
