Harpenden Gang Show 2024 
For 74 years the Scouts of Harpenden have been wowing packed audiences with their unique and award-winning blend of song, dance, and comedy, all from a cast of 150 aged 9 to 18. 
Where: Eric Morecambe Centre, Rothamsted Park, Harpenden, Hertfordshire, AL5 2FR. 
When: Tuesday 9th-Saturday 13th January. Various times.

About: The Eric Morecambe Centre was opened in a brand-new facility in 2021 in Harpenden and is a luxurious culture and entertainment centre.

Harpenden Rugby Club – Men’s First Team  
The first fixture of the season, Harpenden Men’s 1st XV versus Old Northamptonians. See website for following matches.

Harpenden Sinfonia Play Day 
The sinfonia will be rehearsing together to perform Mozart, Symphony No. 40, and The Marriage of Figaro Overture. Amateur players are invited to come join for a ‘play day’ under the direction of renowned conductor Darren Bloom. 
Where: Sunday 21st January, 10:00-17:30. 
When: Park Hall, Leyton Rd, Harpenden, Hertfordshire, AL5 2LX. 
Tickets: The cost is £25 and includes refreshments.  
About:  The sinfonia was set up in Harpenden in 2023 and is an amateur orchestra that encourages any players grade 6 and above to come join for a full day of play, without the pressure of a concert.

We would like to invite local businesses, creatives, and members of the community to join us at our We Are Community Monthly Networking Social. It’s an informal, social evening in which to connect and make new partnerships and friendships.

About: We Are St. Albans and We Are Harpenden (We Are Community) were created shortly after lockdown by Katie and Sabine, as a lifeline to help connect local people to local businesses and be the place to come for everything local. They run monthly networking socials, put on ad-hoc events, have an online directory listing database and promote on their popular social media channels amongst other services! The Hub on Verulam is a social centre in St. Albans for dining, cinema, events, and networking, which is open to members and non-members.

We Are Mums Meet Up 
A great new way for the local community of Mums to meet up together for pastries and play with their little ones, in Harpenden. Each session will have ‘special guests’ – local kids focused businesses highlighting their services. This month we have Eddie Bear Creative, Saintly Sleep Coaching and Imogen & I.
