fit20 Harpenden is redefining fitness with a refreshingly simple approach: one-to-one, science-based strength training completed in just 20 minutes a week.
Opened in November 2024 by Liam and Alicja, the studio has quickly become a valued part of the community. In its first year, 160 members aged from teens to late 80s have joined, many arriving unsure about exercise and leaving feeling stronger, more confident and more capable.
The fit20 method uses slow, controlled, high-intensity strength training on specialist precision equipment, taking muscles to brief fatigue for maximum efficiency. Every session is one-to-one with a dedicated coach, ensuring workouts are safe, personalised and suitable for beginners, older adults and those recovering from injury.
Unlike traditional gyms, the studio is quiet, private and pressure-free, with no crowds, no changing clothes and no wasted time.
