Local Events & Meet Ups

Whatever your interests and passions may be, from exercise and reading to networking and skill developing, We Are Harpenden - along with our members - are offering local events that will be the place for you to come and make new friends, meet like-minded people, learn new skills, and connect with other locals over shared interests.

We are excited to share that we have launched our first ‘We Are Meetups’ group - ‘We Are Mums’ - a wonderful place for mums and mums to be to meet and socialise with their little ones. Please see the list of local events below.

Connecting our community one meet up at a time.”

Go Now! The Music of the Moody Blues

An opportunity for fans to experience this timeless music live, in a tribute to the greatest classic rock band of a generation and Rock and Roll Hall Of Famers THE MOODY BLUES.

Led by Gordy Marshall who toured and recorded with The Moody Blues for twenty-five years, together with Mick Wilson (lead singer of 10CC for twenty years) they present a super-group of world class musicians, singers and songwriters and meticulously recreate the elegance of a Moody Blues Concert.

In this show, all the classic hits are celebrated, including ‘Nights in White Satin’, ‘Go Now’, ‘Tuesday Afternoon’, ‘Legend of a Mind (Timothy Leary’s Dead)’, ‘I Know You’re Out There Somewhere’, ‘Question’, ‘Isn’t Life Strange’ plus ‘Forever Autumn’ and a show-stealing rendition of ‘Eve of the War’ from Jeff Wayne’s The War of the Worlds.

Joining Gordy and Mick on stage are: Tim Maple (Leona Lewis guitarist and X-factor Live MD), Malcolm Moore (James Blunt) and Patrick Duffin (Jersey Boys).
